Appearance: At first glance, most people notice that Dib is short and his head is big. He's only a little bit taller than his sister Gaz. He's pale skinned, and has black spikey hair which is most noticable because of one long, gravity-defying spike of hair that sticks up over his head. His head is known for being 'big,' though he always denies it when someone calls it big as he doesn't believe it is. He also has very thin glasses which seem to take up the entire area of his face. His eyes are a light almond brown. He's also skinny, and wears a long black trenchcoat to offset this. He wears black knee-high boots and black pants, while his shirt is cobalt with a grey "=|" face on it.
Personality: By definition, he is a loud, big headed boy. His social skills are very lacking in that he's either deemed crazy, insane, or annoying by his peers. Mostly this is because he has a huge obsession with the paranormal, and he has seen so much proof that it exists in his world, yet he can never get the proof needed to ... Well, prove it to others. He's also easily excitable when he sees or experiences something supernatural, so of course other people would just stare at him oddly as he ran around, exclaiming about vampire gerbils in his head. Interestingly enough, when he sees mirrors of himself, like a future or past self, he can't help but also notice he's annoying. He also has his limits, as he knows when someone is just a man in a chicken suit. When something is a failure or a plan of his just failed, he will loudly whine about it. Sometimes though, he just shrugs it off and goes to collapse into bed after he repeatedly failed over and over. Generally though, he is a good guy. Just very excitable and to most, annoying.
Abilities/Strengths: Dib himself doesn't have any supernatural abilites. The only times he has ever had supernatural abilities was when he was either dreaming or in a coma from some kind of failure. Either way, his abilities and strengths lie in that he never wants to give up, and his intelligence in technology and hacking surpasses many. He belongs in a paranormal research cult called the "Swollen Eyeballs," his agent name being Agent Mothman. He gets most of his technology from them as well as his father, Professsor Membrane who is clueless in what he uses the technology for.
Weapons: Dib's weapon is his computer and any technology you can give him to work with. He's very good with hacking and building things.
Weaknesses: Overreacting to everything is really Dib's biggest weakness. He's overexcitable, overeager, and overzealous. He's easy to spark into being spazzy or loud. He's also very obsessed with the paranormal and will do ANYTHING to get his video recording, which always ends up in horrible failure. He's also very much obsessed with aliens. Would probably do a lot of insane things to capture one, as his many perils trying to thrawt his nemesis Zim proves.
History: Dib mostly just grew up with his sister, Gaz. Nothing is known about his mother, but fandom believes he became interested in the paranormal because of her death early on in his life, and he saw her once as a ghost. His father is Professor Membrane and the man owns his own huge laboratory and even a television show. Because of how famous his father is though, he is never around for Dib and Gaz. So, Dib became obsessed in the paranormal and Gaz became obsessed in her video games.

It is unknown how long he has been a member of the Swollen Eyeballs as Agent Mothman, but it is thought of to be a long time. Dib has been into the paranormal since he was a little boy, so he has had a long time to see his own supernatural and very unsupernatural events to understand the difference.

Most of Dib's life involves the paranormal. Between the technology used to research it and all the sightings Dib has had, he knows it exists and his goal in life is to show the world the truth. ... Yet, the world never listens to those thought to be crazy. Dib has been thrown into mental hospitals and trashcans many times. Still though, he keeps on going.

Especially when he finally finds his first true alien, right in his own "Skool" classroom. He exclaims that Zim is an alien to the entire class, but they just mutter about him being crazy. After that, Dib chases him around handcuff him. When that doesn't work and Zim gets away, Dib becomes professional stalker to Zim. Dib tries his hardest everytime to thwart Zim's plans, and capture him. These plans always fail, but Dib does win by always making sure Zim fails with his plans as well.

Dib's life revolves around trying to capture Zim, taking his sister to buy her video games but getting lost in the car garage and meeting horrible rat people, and getting beaten up and laughed at by his peers. Dib ended up being taken to Econtra while stalking inside of Zim's base, looking for his sister as she strangely disappeared. He of course blamed Zim for this.
